| Product Overview
SynCold® SH series products are semi-synthetic, polyalphaolefin (PAO)-based refrigeration lubricants specifically developed for commercial and industrial refrigeration and air-conditioning compressors. Compared with naphthenic‑based products, the SynCold® SH series exhibits lower volatility, significantly reducing the frequency of routine maintenance and lubricant consumption. It is particularly well suited for applications with evaporating temperatures above –45°C and for use in ammonia‑based refrigeration systems.SynCold® SH features a low pour point, a high viscosity index, and excellent viscosity‑temperature characteristics, delivering outstanding low‑temperature fluidity. It complies with and exceeds the requirements of DIN 51503‑1 (Class KAA: refrigeration oils that are immiscible with ammonia, NH3). Test results for ammonia resistance (DIN 51538) demonstrate that SynCold® SH exhibits excellent stability when used with R717 refrigerant. Furthermore, the SynCold® SH product line has no adverse effects on metals or other materials such as rubber.
