| Product Overview
SynCold® DRG series products are synthetic cycloalkane‑based refrigeration lubricants specifically developed for hermetic refrigeration compressors in refrigerators. Designed for applications using R600a as the refrigerant, they are particularly well suited to low‑temperature operations. When in contact with hydrocarbon refrigerants—especially R600a—the selected base oil and synergistic multi‑effect additives ensure excellent chemical stability and superior thermal stability at elevated temperatures.SynCold® DRG refrigeration lubricant has been developed for standard factory filling of hermetic refrigerator compressor systems, as well as for OEM retrofit applications. It incorporates a specialized anti‑wear additive package that forms a robust viscous lubricating film to prevent wear. Its excellent low‑temperature performance ensures adequate return of the lubricant to the compressor even at subzero temperatures, thereby avoiding operational failures caused by wax blockages in the capillary tube. SynCold® DRG exhibits outstanding solubility and miscibility with natural hydrocarbons, particularly isobutane, and contains an extremely low water content.
