GD2000 is a high-viscosity composite ester with excellent hydrolytic stability and shear stability. It serves as an efficient, easy-to-use viscosity‑increasing additive for both mineral and synthetic oils and is recommended for thickening applications across a wide range of lubrication fields. Its superior lubricity makes it an ideal base stock for such formulations. In certain formulations, GD2000 can also function as an enhancer for sulfur‑phosphorus extreme‑pressure additives and may replace chlorinated paraffins—though care should be taken in some cases to assess additive compatibility and the base oil’s mutual solubility. With outstanding viscosity‑building performance, it can achieve comparable viscosity levels even at low addition levels.
