Note 1: After adding a 10% (mass fraction) viscosity index improver to the HVIH5 base oil, the difference between the kinematic viscosity at 100°C and that of the base oil.

Note 2: After adding a viscosity index improver at 7.5% by mass to the HVIH5 base oil, its shear stability index was measured.

Note 3: After adding 10% (by mass) of a viscosity index improver to the HVIH5 base oil, its pour point was determined.
