  • Product Description
  • | Product Overview

    The ester‑based base oils for internal combustion engines are produced by reacting neopentyl polyols with saturated fatty acids under specific, proprietary process conditions, followed by a specialized post‑treatment refining step. They are particularly well suited as base stocks for engine oils in viscosity grades such as 0W‑16, 0W‑20, 0W‑30, 0W‑40, and 0W‑60. These esters can be blended into PAO, GTL oils, and Group III hydrogenated base oils. This ester series comprises sterically hindered polyol esters, which exhibit exceptionally high oxidation stability and excellent anti‑wear performance, along with outstanding solvency. They serve to swell sealing materials, dissolve poorly soluble additives to achieve additive balance, and break down carbon deposits, thereby helping to keep the engine clean. Typical blending ratios range from 5% to 15% of additives, often combined with PAO or GTL base stocks.

    | Product Features

    • Excellent lubricity
    • High oxidation stability and thermal stability
    • Excellent hydrolytic stability
    • Excellent low-temperature performance
    • Low volatility, low carbon deposition
    • Biodegradable, DCD 65%
    • Excellent solvency; it swells rubber, enhances the solubility of poorly soluble additives, and increases the solubility of residual carbon, while maintaining cleanliness.

    | Scope of Application

    General Motors engine oil (mineral oil + G2820/G2823) 5–15%;

    High-end automotive engine oil (PAO/GTL+G2820/G2823) 5–25%;

    Industrial gear oil and wind turbine gear oil: 5–10%;

    Adding this neopentyl polyol ester to internal‑combustion engine oils can extend oil‑change intervals and improve fuel economy. The high polarity of the synthetic ester enables it to adsorb exceptionally well at the friction interface, delivering immediate performance during startup—when 90% of mechanical wear occurs. G2820/G2823 esters exhibit excellent oxidation stability, low volatility, and low residual carbon, further prolonging oil‑change intervals. Their superior lubricity and reduced friction also contribute to outstanding fuel efficiency.
